CleanPic Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the mobile application “CleanPic,” operated by Hyeokseo Bak.

The developer of CleanPic ("Operator") establishes and discloses this policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users’ personal information and handle related complaints smoothly.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The operator processes personal information for the following purposes. If the purpose changes, the operator will take necessary actions, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

• User management: verifying app usage intent, etc.

Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

• Retention period: personal information will be destroyed immediately upon user request
• Legal basis: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.

Article 4 (Destruction Procedures and Methods of Personal Information)

Personal information is destroyed without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved.

• If retention is required under relevant laws, it is stored separately in a different database (DB).
• Destruction method: deleted after review by the personal information protection officer.

Article 5 (Rights of Users and Methods of Exercise)

• Users can request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information.
• Requests can be made via written request, email, fax, etc.
• Legal representatives may also exercise the rights on behalf of users.
• Some requests may be restricted according to the Personal Information Protection Act.
• The operator processes requests after verifying the identity of the requester.

Article 11 (Advertising and Third-Party SDK Usage)

This app uses advertising services to provide free service. All ads are non-personalized and do not involve user tracking.

• Data collected: Ad impressions and click information (non-identifiable data)
• Purpose of collection: Deliver non-personalized ads and measure ad performance
• Third-party provision: No tracking data is collected or provided; handled only within the default policy of the ad platform.
• User control: Since only non-personalized ads are used, no additional user consent is required for tracking.

According to the Administrative Appeals Act, users can file an appeal if they believe their rights have been violated due to unfair administrative actions.
